唱段删了太多，除了主要的几首外，差不多是个话剧了。剧情也大改，删了Lucy的角色，私以为改过的反而更胜一筹。本来也是从The Beggars Opera(角色灵感来源Jenny Diver是当时伦敦著名扒手)改编的，演出过程中又有小改动，甚至还加了另一部音乐剧Happy End里的歌，Lotte Lenya战后还演了英语版的Jenny
